What We Do

Our Process
When you work with Michael Drews and Company, you’re working with experienced advisors that have a duty to have your best interests in mind. Your personal success is our top priority – always. You’ll experience the Michael Drews and Company Process in stages.

01. Discovery Meeting

Your financial path begins with a preliminary, introductory discussion where we aim to listen first. We will ask questions about your current situation, your most important goals, and aim to determine what a comfortable balance for you is between risk and return in your portfolio. Only then will we begin the deliberate and consultative process of building a wealth management strategy that’s personalized for you. This free, no-obligation meeting gives each of us the opportunity to evaluate our fit before embarking on a path together.

02. Planning Meeting

At this meeting, you’ll learn how we see your current situation and the likelihood of you achieving your goals. A specific action plan and investment portfolio that is aligned with helping you achieve your goals will be determined in this meeting. This plan forms the foundation for our work together.

03. Commitment Meeting

The Commitment meeting is where we put the plan into action. We also discuss our engagement standards in this meeting to set up our relationship for long-term success. Lastly, we sign the necessary documents that are required for us to work together, including new account applications and account transfer forms.

04. Consolidation Meeting

It can be overwhelming to receive non-stop communications from your advisor. At this meeting, we help you organize that mass of paperwork and make sure that you know how to access your account information online. We also begin collaborating with members of our carefully selected financial management expert team of wealth advisors, accountants, and insurance advisors to devise solutions for your advanced planning needs. We also have great partners we can connect you with should you need estate planning and banking services.

05. Regular Progress Meetings

Periodic meetings are needed to ensure that your goals or situation have not changed since our last meeting. At your first Regular Progress meeting, we’ll also prioritize and implement the advanced planning topic(s) of greatest importance to you. In every progress meeting, we review your progress toward your long-term financial goals.
